So this November I encountered a few new things I absolutely adore and encountered a few things I've been using for quite awhile because I think they're just great!
As winter has been brought upon us, which I'm thankful for because it's my favorite season and holiday season, my collection of beauty products have ranged from new lip balm to new foundation.
This season so far, I've been using a great smelling hand lotion that I found in my moms room, so unfortunately I don't know where its from. I also went to a very fun craft show with my mom and aunts in November and picked up this Grapefruit Triple Butter Lip Balm from a stand they had called Harriet's Little Soap Company. They have a website here that you can visit and they have all kinds of good smelling stuff you can pick from! The lip balm is super moisturizing and I use it on a daily basis. A definite go-to if your in need of a new lip balm!
I've also been using a moisturizer that I've been using for years, (yes, years), and I wouldn't trade it for anything! Unless I decide to try a new one, but I haven't found a good one that beats this yet. It's called Cetaphil. It's a moisturizing lotion for all skin types. I love the way it feels after I wash my face and need a moisturizer afterwards. At first it feels a little heavy but that goes away. I also mix this with my foundation (mentioned later in the blog). You can buy this from any grocery or drug store.
Ahh, here's the foundation I was talking about! It's a new grab that I've been using for a couple months. I grabbed a shade too dark but when I mix it with my moisturizer mentioned earlier, it looks better.
It's from the FIT Me Collection from Maybelline and at first I was a little uneasy about it because of how it came off on clothes so easily, but I figured that'll change when I get my actual shade. It's a 125 and I'm a 120, dunno what I was thinking but I'll grab the 120 later. I like the way it goes on so evenly and I don't have to fix certain spots because of the coverage. I'll do a more in depth post once I get my actual shade. You can also buy this from a grocery or drug store.
Last but not least is an all time favorite of mine.
The Great Lash Blackest Black from Maybelline! This is probably a favorite because of the way it makes my eyelashes look longer and the black is perfect because it makes my eyelashes pop no matter what! I'll do a separate post on this mascara because it deserves one dedicated to itself! Again, you can buy this at any grocery or drug store (:
